I am from Union County and have 28 years dental experience. I enjoy dentistry because I have the opportunity to help people feel better about themselves. There is a great family atmosphere among the Southwest Family Dentistry staff.
Tabatha
I was born and raised in Lake City and have been working as a dental assistant for almost 16 years. Although there are many things I love about my job, I find it most fulfilling having involvement in my patients’ well-being, whether it’s getting them out of pain or building their confidence by improving the esthetics of their smile. I know my patients will be happy leaving our office, which makes me happy!
Penny
I am from Branford and have 20 years of dental experience. What I like best is getting to know the patients and the relationships you develop with them over the years. I appreciate the family atmosphere among the staff in this office.
Your hygienists: Lauren and Ann
Lauren
I graduated from Sante Fe College’s Hygiene Program and have 10 year’s experience. I love being a hygienist, because it is rewarding to see the improvement in my patient’s dental health. My patients have come to realize over time how important it is, and how dental health makes a difference in their overall health. I really appreciate Dr. Batlle, because he does quality work and stands behind it.
Ann
I have been a practicing dental hygienist for 41 years. Of that, 33 years was spent in private practice and the last 8 years was in public health, working on the Miles of Smiles dental bus in Columbia County. I love my chosen career in dental hygiene and I am excited to be working in such a caring and professional practice with Dr. Batlle and his team.

I have been a dental assistant for 10 years and love every aspect of the dental industry. I love helping patients from the beginning phone call to the end of their appointment and each returning visit. Dr. Batlle gave me my first break in the dental field and I am happy to be back working with him. I feel blessed to work in a practice with such wonderful patients and staff that make you feel like you are part of a family!

I have worked in the dental business for almost 17 years. Southwest Family Dentistry is a great place to work! It has a Christian foundation and the atmosphere is very peaceful.
